Let's be honest: something might go wrong. It's not whether or not mistakes are made that make a good web company (because it will happen), but how a company handles these situations.
Every client of mine gets a unique login name and password. Once logged in, they can see a list of their websites and submit a question, a bug report, or even a feature request. Once I view the issue, I comment on it and resolve it as soon as possible.
